Julius Klinger was an Austrian painter, graphic artist and illustrator who was born on May 22, 1876 in Vienna and whose work significantly influenced the art world at the beginning of the 20th century. Klinger, who lived at a time when European art was rapidly evolving, was known for his innovative poster designs that were not only advertising but also art.
