William Saville Kent, a pioneer of marine biology, created a fascinating work on the echinoderms of the Great Barrier Reef in 1893. In his book "The Great Barrier Reef of Australia" he combined scientific precision with artistic representation to show the diversity and beauty of these sea creatures. Interesting fact: William Saville Kent was not only a gifted scientist, but also an adventurer. He was one of the first to introduce the idea of pearl farming in Australia, inspired by his observations of nature. He was also involved in a mysterious murder case: the murder of his half-brother Constance Kent, which shook England in the 1860s. Although he was not directly involved, the case was a scandal that put his family in the spotlight.

We only use original and high-quality pigment ink which contains real pigment particles. This is UV-resistant, solvent-free, vegan and environmentally friendly.
UV & moisture resistant
Thanks to the UV resistance of our pigment inks, the prints do not fade or discolor and retain their color brilliance for up to 100 years.
